I am so happy to be finished with round two of grad school. Tuesday night was the end of this long class which has consumed my Tuesday nights for the past sixteen weeks. The class was hard but I feel like I actually learned a lot about myself as a teacher and I think that will (obviously) help the kids I teach. Right now I want to stop taking classes for awhile. 90 hours of school since I graduated is A LOT and, now that I think about it, practically another undergrad degree.
We only have 12 and 2/3rds days left of school, too. It's hard to believe how quickly this year has gone by. I really have enjoyed the vast majority of my kids this year, and I really like teaching language arts, too. I have only one day off until I'll be off to San Diego with three of my students who made it to the Sally Ride Toy Challenge Finals. Then in a short eighteen days Jon and I will be in Milwaukee for his cousin's wedding. It will be great to see his family while we're there. Then, eleven days later is Europe! I just know things are going to fly by until then.
