Wow, this really has been such a busy and crazy last few weeks culminating with this weekend. Jon is scheduled to arrive in town for this weekend around 4:30 (but his plane looks like it is 1.5 hours late!). Then we have a wedding to attend tomorrow and he leaves again on Sunday. Total time in AZ this time: a short 48 hour trip. However, Jon is here for good starting Dec. 23rd. Praise God!
Today also begins a much needed break from school. I have two weeks off to relax and mentally and physically prepare for semester two. I'm sure the two weeks off will fill up quickly between (hopefully) catching up with friends, moving Jon's stuff across the country (what an adventure), Christmas, my mom's birthday, and working at Ericka's downtown preschool with NJHS.
If I don't get a chance to post again before Christmas, I hope everyone has a relaxing and wonderful Christmas. I know my goal is in the midst of it all I can step back and remember why I have so much to celebrate for and everything Christ has done for me.

Fun and Important News Update
Guess what?!?! Okay, I'm too excited to wait for you to actually guess so I'm just going to shout it out:
JON'S COMPANY IS TRANSFERRING HIM TO ARIZONA EFFECTIVE JANUARY 3RD, 2005!!!
So, if any of you heard lots of loud, high pitched squealing and shouts of glee, don't worry...that was just me!
We just found out yesterday that this looks like it's actually going to happen. The timing of this move is just too perfect, and it just has reaffirmed for me that God is in control and makes things happen in his timing (now) and not mine (moving a few months ago). We are probably going to be taking a cross country road trip in the near future to get all of Jon's stuff from Virginia and Wisconsin to Arizona. I will get to visit several states I have never seen before (Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana) and others that I have only been in a short time (Illinois, New Mexico, Texas). If you know of any fun and enjoyable car games to play, send them my way! :)
Thank you all for your prayer, concern, support, and encouragement along the way. Funds for the trip can be send to 800-AZ-OR-BUST. ;)

Christmas Season
I am so excited that it is December! The air has a crisp breeze to it, the smell of evergreen is running through the house, and I am on the quest to find the "perfect" gifts. Plus, this is the only time of year you can be walking through your favorite store in the mall and hear blasting over the in-store radio "Christ in the Lord" or similiar Biblical truths proudly proclaimed! Unfortunately Christmas has become such a secular holiday, but we don't have to let that be our focus this holiday season. Let's really remember why we celebrate this holiday the remainder of the month and live with that thought in mind!
