Brewtown Weekend

Jon and I were in Milwaukee for what felt like a lightning fast trip this past weekend. After getting in late Thursday evening, much of the weekend was spent in Racine where two of Jon's friends were getting married. They had a lovely wedding and reception, and Jon was able to catch up with some other friends from the rockin' college days as well. It was kinda neat because the leaves were still on the trees, and being from the southwest, it was neat to see the yellow and oranges of the leaves before they fell off the trees. However, with that beauty comes some chilly weather and some darn cold wind. Burrr. Nothing can compare to Phoenix weather right now.

We are planning to return to Wisconsin in January for yet another wedding (is it that stage of life, or what?) and perhaps even in February for another one of Jon's friends. I guess I shouldn't complain about the weather there now because it's sure to be much colder in a few months.

We got back late, late last night (think midnight) which made Monday morning rough around the edges. Thank goodness for Veteran's Day...no school on Friday!
